Obituary

Betty J. Vickery, age 83, of Pasco, Washington, passed away on July 29, 2014, at the Badger Mountain Adult Family Home in Richland, Washington. Betty ran the lunch counter at the Payless Drug Store in Pasco. She and her husband, Bob, owned Smitty's Pancake House until the late 70's, until they purchased Francisco's in Burbank. Betty also managed The Hub at Columbia Basin College in the 1980's. Betty retired in 1997, along with her husband, Bob. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vickery; survived by her children, Debbie, Bobby, and Angela, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and many members of her extended family. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick, Washington, 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 9, 2014. A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 8, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
