Obituary for Betty J. Vaughn
Betty J Vaughn, 84 of Kennewick, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, March 10th, at Kadlec Medical Center into the arms of our Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family. Betty was born April 12TH 1941, in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she also met her first husband, Joseph E. Bonner. They married and had 4 children. In 1960, they moved to Portland, Oregon, then to Kennewick, Washington in 1961, where they lived until he died in 1992. She met and married her 2nd husband, Donnie Vaughn, in Kennewick, and she gained 2 Bonus daughters. There they lived for the remainder of her life.
Betty loved camping, sewing (especially Quilts), cooking, traveling, but her greatest love was her family. She loved the lord with all her heart and was a faithful member of the Highway Church of God.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Debi Cameron (David) of Castle Rock, WA; son, Tony Bonner (Cherine) of Kennewick; her bonus daughters (who she loved as her own), Debra Blair (Ralph) and Loren Sandberg (Jamie), both of Kennewick; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Bonner, 2nd husband Donnie Vaughn, brother Jim Davis, Son David, daughter Evelyn, and Grandson Kyle.
Celebration of life will be at the Highway Church of God, Saturday, March 21, at 1:00 pm.
