Betty Stazenski (née Markham) passed away on June 12, 2024, in Kennewick, Washington at the age of 94. She was born on January 29, 1930, in Tensed, Idaho, to Abraham and Mabel Markham.

Betty was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by husband Robert Stazenski, children Shirley (Jeff) Bare, Carol Clark, Allen Clark, Bruce (Tammy) Clark, Neal (Lainie) Clark, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by Warren "Butchie" Dale Clark.

Betty attended Kennewick High School in the 1940's and worked at GTE from 1970 until her retirement in 1992. Betty and Bob traveled throughout the US in retirement. They were snowbirds in Arizona and Palm Springs, spending summers in Carson, WA and Spokane before finally settling back home in Kennewick in 2012.

In her free time, Betty enjoyed reading, sewing, and painting. She found great joy in being around her children and the moments spent with them. She was very proud of all her children's accomplishments.

Betty's journey through life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 24, at 11:00 am at Riverview Heights Cemetery, 1200 S Olympia St, Kennewick, WA 99337. A reception will immediately follow at the Keewaydin Community Center in the Sun Room. The funeral home assisting with arrangements is Muellers in Kennewick, WA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice Chaplaincy in memory of Betty Stazenski.
