Obituary

Betina Rae Dyes-Huels, passed away unexpectedly on September 16th, 2023 in Kennewick, Washington after battling with cancer since 2021.

She was born on March 6th, 1981 in Richland, Washington at Kadlec Hospital and attended Kamiakin High School. Shortly after that she had two children and got married in July of 2005. She later went on to attend Charter College and receive her Certificate in Medical Coding and Billing.

Betina loved her children and her family above all else, including her chosen family, whether that be her husband or long time friends. Betina actively tried to make the lives of those around her better, even if she had to make sacrifices for them. She also loved to go camping, huckleberry picking,floating on the river, watching baseball, and cuddling with her  "boogie" dog, Brady.

She is survived by her loving parents Jody and William Dyes; her children, Jasmine Dyes and Justice Huels; her husband, Jason Huels; sister, Brandy Dyes; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Gloria and Joe Zompetti; William A. Dyes; Elsie Dyes- McCullough and Andrew McCullough; and Norman and Alice Cram.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on September 29th at Highlands United Methodist Church, 17 S. Union Street, Kennewick WA 99336.
