In Loving Memory of Bertie Jane (Judson) Honn

Bertie Jane (Judson) Honn, born on September 13, 1935, in Garfield, WA, and raised in

Tensed, ID, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, with her beloved husband by her

side. She graduated from high school in Plummer, ID, and later moved to the Winona, WA

area, where she spent the rest of her life on the family farm.

Bertie married the love of her life, Floyd Cleon Honn, on July 8, 1953. They shared 71

wonderful years together. She was preceded in death by her son, Lyle Honn, and is survived

by her daughters and sons-in-law: Louise and Del Groat, and Elaine and Ron Cone. Also

survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Bertie was proud of her family and

cherished her friends and community. She was a dedicated contributor to community and

school events.

Bertie had a passion for sewing and lovingly crafted all the bridesmaid dresses for Elaine's

wedding and Louise's wedding dress. She passed on her skills to her daughters and

granddaughters, teaching them the art of sewing. She and Floyd enjoyed traveling across

the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, and also made memorable trips to Canada

and Europe.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to your favorite charitable

organization in her memory.

Graveside services will be at the Endicott Cemetery on Sunday, June 29th at 3pm. Following

the service, a gathering will be held at the family farm with refreshments.
