Obituary

Barbara Lynn Keen, 61 of Kennewick, WA Passed away on July 20, 2024. She was born February 1, 1963 to Ronald Cass Sr. and Bernadette (Adam) Cass in Keosauqua, Iowa. Barbara Graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1981. She married her husband of 38 years, the love of her life, David Lee Keen in Bothell, WA in 1986.

She loved to serve others and worked in many capacities over the years. She worked for, and managed Wendy's from 1981 -1986, where she met her husband, David. She worked at KFC, Taco Bell and Safeway from 1986 – 1992. Her final occupation was working as a rural Carrier for the USPS from 1992 -2021.

Faith was important to her, she was a member of the Catholic Daughter's of America, where she helped with the bake sales. She loved Baking and serving at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She loved doing crafts and being with her family and friends. She dearly loved her extended family including her aunts, uncles and cousins.

Barbara is survived by her husband David Keen, Son Jesse (Kim) Keen, Daughter, Diana Keen, Her Mother Bernadette Cass, Brother Ronald Dee Cass, Jr (Debra), Nieces Amber and Amanda, 3 Grandchildren; Houston, Dallas and Aurora.

She is Preceded in death by her father Ronald Dee Cass, Sr.

We would like to make a special thank you to Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice.

There will be a Rosary held at 10:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by a Funeral Services at 11:30am. A Reception will be held at Dillon Hall immediately after the service.
