She was known for her larger-than-life personality, her devotion to her loved ones, and her unmatched ability to make anyone laugh—often with hilariously tangled words and a well-timed inappropriate joke. Those who knew Barb felt the depth of her unconditional love and support. She was a loyal best friend to her grandchildren, a ride-or-die for her daughters, a loving caretaker to her father, and a passionate fan of her beloved Mariners.

She leaves behind a family forever touched by her love, including her daughters Ember and Dawn, her grandchildren Madyson and Landon, her sisters Nancy and Shirley, her brother Jim, and her father Gene. She is reunited in peace with her mother, Sarina, and her sister, Kelly.
