We lost a great man. Arthur Taylor Welden born in Los Angeles, California on November 7, 1936. Leaving Los Angeles as a young boy, traveling Route 66 heading to Cherryville, Kansas. Leaving Cherryville as a teenager moving to Kellogg Idaho he met the love of his life, Dolores. They were married in 1955. Art worked for Chef's Orchid Airline Catering Service in Oakland CA/Tacoma WA until the company relocated to the East Coast. For the family, he then decided to remain in the Tacoma area and pursued a career as a Salesman for Crescent Realty, Inc. in Spanaway, WA. Close to retirement he and his wife Dee decided to pursue a career together as Apartment Managers and relocated to the Tri-Cities, where they retired in 1996. Their life was full, spending quality time with family and friends. Snow birding in Hawaii and Arizona brought them much happiness and got them out of the Washington Winters. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Dolores and grandson Michael. Arthur is survived by his sister Rosie, his four Children, Debbie, Rick (Melissa), Jeff (Stacy) and Trish (Bob). He was also the proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and considered a father and mentor to many family members and friends. He will be truly missed.
