Arthur (Artie) Abraham Amaya III, age 40, born on July 9, 1983, at Fort Lewis, WA, to Arthur Amaya Jr. and Teresa Ozuna, was tragically taken from us on September 17, 2023, and is now in the arms Jesus Christ. Artie's journey through life is one of great devotion to family, faith, and a profound love for all. Artie graduated from Kennewick High School, where he enjoyed playing football, and later pursued his education at Columbia Basin College. He found the love of his life, Adriana, and together they raised three wonderful children.

Artie worked as a Bus Driver for the Pasco School District, where he enjoyed interacting with kids of all ages. Above all, Artie was a family man, placing his loved ones at the forefront of his heart. His joy was spending quality time with his family, whether it was taking them to the park, going on walks, or playing video games and sports with his children. Artie liked to BBQ for family gatherings. He enjoyed going to car shows, cruising in his car listening to Christian music, and attending Christian concerts. He was known to check in on family frequently with encouraging text messages. With an ever-present smile and open arms, Artie had a heart of gold, we will miss his warm hugs, contagious laughter.

He found strength in reading the Bible, and daily devotionals. His faith was unwavering, and he shared his love for Jesus through his actions and words. Artie co-founded Blessed Car Ministries to spread the word and share his love for Christ. Artie was known for his ability to make friends with everyone he met. His absence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Artie was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Isaac Ozuna, Arthur & Nellie Amaya, his uncle Abraham Amaya Sr, cousins Isaiah Hernandez and Alicia Ruvalcaba-Osegera,

He is survived by his beloved wife, Adriana Rico-Amaya, their children, Arthur IV, Andrew, and Alise Amaya, his father, Arthur (Gena) Amaya Jr., and his mother Teresa (Martin) Ozuna-Lopez. He is also survived by his sisters, Angel (Jonathan) Coronado and Maggie (Lacho) Bustos, his brother David Sifuentes, his Grandmother Frances Ozuna, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, sister-in-law's, brother-in-law's, and cherished friends.

Artie's legacy of love, unwavering faith, and boundless friendship will forever reside in the hearts of those he touched. His absence is deeply felt, and he will be profoundly missed.
