Our beloved Arturo Partida, known to most as "Art", peacefully entered into eternal rest on February 7, 2024.

Art was born in Pasco, WA to his loving parents Hilario and Refugio Partida in 1959. He lived his life for his family and by the morals that were instilled in him at an early age. Some would even say that he and Lalo were "two peas in a pod", living by high standards of integrity and second chances. Cuca was his rock and boy did he love her meatloaf!

His infinite love of music, sports, classic cars and mentoring youth have touched the lives of many. A jokester to the core, he definitely made us laugh with his dry sense of humor and silly faces. Beyond his goofy demeanor, his kind eyes and caring heart allowed many people to confide in him and create everlasting friendships. He was a wonderful husband and provider for his family. A great and loving father to his three children, he collectively coached over 20 of their teams.

His mental strength and perseverance are a few of the key qualities people think of when he comes to mind. Through his health issues he was always able to keep a positive mindset and overcome life's obstacles with the support of his soulmate. He began working at the age of 19 and stayed with the same company until he retired in 2005.

Art was a simple man yet very complex at the same time. He enjoyed the little pleasures of everyday life and opportunity to leave an impact on people's lives. Art would often offer his wise words of wisdom, sometimes unsolicited but always warranted. Art strongly believed in the goodness of people; if you ever asked him, "What do you want?", he'd always respond, "Love, peace and happiness".
