Ardell Marie Davis, 91 of Kennewick Washington passed away December 18, 2011. Ardell was born in Orland, California next to the Stone Creek Bridge to Andrew and Flora Johnson. She married Joe Davis in December 1937. Their first son Daryl was born in 1938. Joe served in World War II during which their second son was born in 1944. After the war, Joe joined Guy F. Atkinson and the family lived in many cities around the world. They settled in Kennewick in the late 1960's. Ardell was very creative and social, she loved life, family and friends. She spent her time gardening, cooking, sewing, playing cards and giving to others. Ardell was preceded in death by her son Daryl in 1972 and her husband Joe in 1984. She was thankful for her friends and neighbors. She had only been a resident of Hawthorne Court a short time but made many new friends there. We will all miss her greatly.
