Ara Inez (Campbell) Vinnedge, 74, was called home on December 5th, 2024 by her Lord and Savior.

She was born June 2nd, 1950 in Chula Vista, CA to Daniel W. Campbell and Genova Ara Inez (Childress) Campbell, the middle child of 9 children.

She met and married her husband on April 27th 1968, and graduated from Hilltop Highschool in June of 1968. Their son, Donald, was born in December of that year and then Charmaine in January of 1970.

In the summer of 1973, they moved their family to Tri-Cities, WA where they welcomed John Skahan in February of 1975 and Richard Daniel in March of 1978.

In 1974 she went to work trimming potatoes for Rogers of Walla Walla for a few years. In 1984 she signed up to sell Avon and did so for more than 30 years. She also worked as a motor route driver for the Tri-City Herald for nearly 20 years, and was a caregiver for her grandson David.

Ara is survived by her children Donald L Vinnedge, Charmaine L (Vinnedge) Rampey, John S. Vinnedge and R. Daniel Vinnedge. A sister, Roberta (Bobbi) L. Campbell and a brother, Malcom W. Campbell, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Ara loved many things in life, including gardening which she earned a Master Gardener degree from WSU, Genealogy which she spent many countless hours researching all of our family history, her church and her family.

Funeral and graveside services will be held December 14th at 1 pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home 1401 S Union St. Kennewick, WA. A memorial gathering will follow at her church, Crossroads Bible Church, 300 S. Quincy St, Kennewick, WA.
