Anna May Malachi, age 62, passed away on October 29, 2007 after a short battle with esophogial cancer. Anna May was born April 29, 1945 in New York City to Adelaide and Salvatore Magistro. In 1948, she and her mother moved west to Southern California. As a young girl, she helped her mother with her tax business. She continued doing taxes for many years. In 1964, she married Luis Sanchez. After having five children, Anna May decided she wanted to persue a career in nursing. In 1983, she completed the program with high honors. She found her calling working in emergency and trauma centers in California. In 1987, she married Reverend Ronald Malachi, two years later they moved to Pasco, WA where he was appointed pastor of St. James CME Church. Once in Pasco, she continued to work as an emergency room nurse. She was a kind and wonderful person who will be missed by all. Anna May was preceded in death by her son; Alexander Sanchez and husband; Ronald Malachi. She is survived by daughter; Miranda Sanchez of Pasco and three sons; Louie and Jill Sanchez of Frederick, CO, Vinnie and Kim Sanchez of Corona, CA and Dominic and Susie Sanchez of Pasco, five grandchildren; Mariah, Sierra, Kaela, Makenna and Vincent.
