Ann Elizabeth Pickering, age 76, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House. She was born August 27, 1935 in Custer, Montana. Ann had lived in the Tri-Cities since 1948. Ann was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Kennewick. She was the Treasurer of Tri-Cities Stamp Club, a member of East Benton County Historical Museum. She was an avid reader, she enjoyed the performances of the Richland Players. Ann had worked the last ten years at Connell Oil. She is survived by her sons K. Vince Cheryl Pickering of Kennewick, David R. Susan Pickering of Manchester, England; grandchildren Sarah & Brett Pennington of Greensboro, N.C., Angela Pickering of Eugene, OR, Kenneth & Steven Pickering of Pullman, WA; great-granddaughter Iris Elizabeth Pennington of Greensboro, N.C.; two brothers; three sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Helen S. Hill. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., at the First Lutheran Church of Kennewick, 418 N.
