Obituary

Amy Jo (Gargan) Wilson, age 59, died in the comfort of her own home on September 18th, 2024.

Amy was born on April 6th, 1965, in Fayette City, Pennsylvania to proud parents John (Jack) & Wilma (Grados) Gargan. Amy was the middle child between two brothers who she loved dearly. Her older brother John (Cyndi) and her younger brother Ryan (Kelly), one niece and three nephews. Amy graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education (early childhood elementary) in 1987 from California University of Pennsylvania. This is where she met the Love of her life, Michael Bryan Wilson. They wed on October 22nd, 1988.

Shortly after Amy & Mike's first son (Jesse) was born they moved west to follow Mike's career. Eventually landing in the Tri-Cities in the mid 1990's where they remained. Amy and Mike, being best friends, loved each other with all their hearts. Some of their best memories came from their camping trips, with just the two of them (and the dogs). Amy & Mike were married for 33-years.

Amy is survived by her three boys – Jesse (Edona & daughter Ayla), Jon (Devan & son Levi), Jack (Francine) and her furry daughters Sage & Annie. As Amy would say her "heart was at its fullest" when surrounded by her boys, their wives and especially her grandchildren. Amy loved her three boys unconditionally. When she said she would do anything for them, she truly meant it. With Amy having a house full of boys, she quickly realized "Football Sunday's" were her favorite as that meant everyone was together. If you knew or had ever met Amy, the one word that came to people's mind was "love." Amy loved everyone she met. She had a way to uplift anyone's spirit she came across. Amy's love for her grandchildren was unmatched, she adored every second with them and never wanted to leave their side. Amy was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed deeply.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday November 2nd anytime from 1-4PM at CG Public House and Catering located at 9221 W. Clearwater Avenue; Kennewick, WA 99336. If you know Mike and the Wilson family; particularly Amy & himself, they spent a lot of memorable time at this establishment. The family celebrated Mike's passing at CG, so it is only right we celebrate the passing of Amy at CG as well.
