Alaine LaRee Monson, 47, of Pasco passed away October 6, 2011. Alaine was born January 5, 1964, in Pasco, WA, to Nolan and June Monson. She grew up on the family farm and attended Pasco schools. She worked at Goodwill for 23 years. Alaine participated in ARC activities bowling, dancing and trips. She won many medals in The Special Olympics softball throw, running and bowling events. Alaine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and volunteered for many years in the children's organization as an assistant teacher. She was a happy person and brought joy to many people. Alaine leaves many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Wayne. She's survived by her mother, sisters Luetta Monson, Karla Cheney Mike, Wayne's wife Julie, and brothers Stuart Monson Glennis, Edward Monson Carolyn, Scott Monson Debbie and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be October 12, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home 1608 W Court St., Pasco. Funeral services are Thursday, October 13, at Road 108, Pasco LDS Church, 11:00 a.m., with viewing before at 10:00 a.m.
