Agnes Martha Lewis, 92, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in West Richland. She was born November 21, 1915 in Savoy, Montana to Joseph and Mary Degendorfer Jaeger. She was raised on her father's homestead near Savoy and attended schools in Savoy and Harlem, Montana. Agnes worked for a time at the East Glacier Lodge at Glacier National Park and at Boeing Aircraft Company in the Seattle area during WWII. She married Bernard Pauly on April 10, 1944 in Havre, Montana. The family moved to a farm near Basin City, WA. in 1962. She was a homemaker while her family was growing up. She worked for Lamb Weston in Connell, WA. for 11 years. Mr. Pauly passed away on May 30, 1973; Agnes married Archie Lewis on March 4, 1980 in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Lewis passed away on July 12, 1988. Agnes is survived by a son, Leo and wife Terry Pauly in Walla Walla, son, Joseph and wife Judy Pauly in Basin City; daughter, Donna and husband Ron Gorham in Kennewick; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; younger sisters, Mary Winter and Christina Marker. Services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 11:00a.m. at St Paul's Catholic Church, 14181 Glade N. Road in Eltopia.
