Obituary

Agatha Chizek went to be with her Lord Jesus on April 21st, after passing away peacefully in her home with family. Agatha was born April 10th, 1907 in Polkau, Germany to William and Emilie Kindopp. After moving to the United States, Agatha lived with her family until the age of 7 when she attended the Lutheran School for the Deaf in Detroit, Michigan in 1914. In 1921 Agatha returned home for one year until 1922 when she attended the South Dakota School for the Deaf in Sioux Falls where she met the love of her life, Lester Chizek. After graduating in 1928, Agatha and Lester were later married, September 21st, 1932 and later had three child Betty, Lest and Nina, raising their family on the family farm in South Shore South Dakota. Agatha was devoted to Christ, her family, and friends, and will be dearly missed. Agatha was preceded in death by her husband Lester Chizek, and all of her siblings, but is survived by her three children, Betty Jackson of Kennewick, WA, Lester Chizek of Hermiston, OR, Nina Nielsen of Custer, SD, sons-in-law Joe, Wayne, daughter-in-law Joyce, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Agatha will be reunited with the lover of her life, Lester, in Custer, SD where she will be laid to rest.
