AeYe was a survivor and fighter to the very end. After the Korean War, she worked to take care of her two young brothers and her father. She was always thinking of her family's needs. She found work at Camp Walker in Teague, Korea working in the kitchen, where she met her husband, James.

AeYe came to America in 1976 and worked at Providence Hospital in Everett, Washington until she moved to Pasco, Washington in 1979. She worked at Iowa Beef Processing until she retired.

AeYe enjoyed many trips with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. Her absence will be felt immensely by her family who loved her dearly.
