Aaron David Hanson, 30 of Kennewick, WA, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Kadlec Medical Center. Aaron was a lifelong resident of Kennewick. Aaron was born November 29, 1982 at Kadlec Medical Center to David and Theresa Hanson. Aaron attended Sunset View Elementary, Desert Hills Middle School, graduating from Kamiakin High School in 2001. Aaron grew up playing hockey, football, and baseball. Growing up Aaron and his older brother Tony would spend their summers in Lincoln, MT with their grandparents, learning to mine for gold. As Aaron grew older and got his driver's license his passion began for working on cars, tearing them apart and putting them back together. After graduating from Kamiakin H.S., Aaron enrolled at Universal Technical Institute in Arizona. He graduated with an AAS Degree. After living in Arizona, he moved back to Kennewick, continuing his love working on cars. Aaron then turned his interest into drilling, working in Alaska and Montana. Aaron is survived by his parents, David and Theresa; older brother Tony (Gretchen) Hanson; Grandma Lewis, Aunts and Uncles Tina (Joe) Rodriguez, Debbie Hanson, Sonny Manasco, Brian Manasco, Bruce Phillippi; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Everett & Louise Hanson and Harold Manasco. Funeral services will be Friday, March 1st, 2013, 1:00 p.m., at Kennewick First Lutheran Church, 418 N. Yelm St., in Kennewick, WA with viewing beginning at noon.
