William Edgar (Ed) Butts, 70 of Burbank, passed away January 4, 2018 in Richland. Ed was born on July 2, 1947 to William and Donna (Freeland) Butts in Pasco. He grew up in Burbank where he spent his childhood playing baseball, fishing and getting into mischief with his buddies. Ed graduated from Columbia High School in 1965. Baseball was always a passion for Ed. He prided himself in his pitching abilities and in high school he even pitched a no-hitter to help his team win a tournament. Ed loved learning about his family's history and had extended knowledge of his ancestors and their journey West on the Oregon Trial. He was also very knowledgeable in the history of the Burbank and Wallula area and love to share his stories. Ed worked as a Union laborer. After retirement, Ed spent his days fishing and visiting with friends and family. Ed is survived by his son, Michael Paramore, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, brothers, Bud and Rick Freeland, sister, Sue Freeland-Klein and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Ed's sense of humor was well known by many. He lived a full life and had many friends. We love you and will forever miss you! There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Burbank Tavern.
