    William Jean Comstock

    November 2, 1941 - May 5, 2022

    William J. Comstock (Jean), age 80 passed into the loving arms of his heavenly father on May 5th, 2022, from medical complications in Kennewick Washington. He was born on November 2nd, 1941, to Jean Olandus Comstock and Alova Nadine Garrison in Portland Oregon. Jean moved to Pasco as a teenager and graduated from Pasco High School in 1959. He initially found work on farms and later for the gas company. He married his second wife Sally C. Lewis and they moved to Kennewick where he joined the Kennewick Fire Department. He worked for most of his career with the Kennewick Fire Department as a Fire Fighter and working on the Ambulance, rising to the rank of Captain. After retiring, he went to work for the Benton Franklin Transit as a bus driver for several years until fully retiring. He loved to go camping, hunting and fishing with his family and friends. His favorite places include the Tucannon Wilderness Area, the Washington/Oregon Coast and Yellowstone. Jean is survived by his three sons Lawrence Rouse, David Comstock, Michael Comstock and their spouses Melinda, Teri and Jodi, his sister Janis Muenzer and brother Jerry Comstock, sister in laws Brooke Lewis, Caroline Comstock and Nola Miller, brother in laws Darold Muenzer and Allen Miller, his grandchildren Christopher Rouse, Austin Rouse, Devan Rouse, Brennan Rouse, Shawn Comstock, Cassandra Comstock and Alexis Comstock. Jean was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sally Comstock, and brother-in-law Max Lewis. Funeral Services Viewing for Family and Friends will be held May 22nd from 5pm to 8pm Mueller's Tri Cities Funeral Home 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick, WA 99338 Mass will be held May 23rd at 10AM St. Joseph's Catholic Church 506 S.
