William "Bill" Eric Johnson of West Richland, Washington, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at home. Bill was born in Queens, New York on September 28th, 1953 to Arthur and Carolyn (Gregory) Johnson. He graduated from Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, VA in 1972. He married the love of his life, Mary Ellen (O'Leary) Johnson on February 14th, 1986. Bill was a Health Physics Technician out at Hanford for over 20 years. He was an avid archery hunter, fisherman, golfer, dart and pool player. He loved cheering on the New York Giants. Survivors include daughters, Alexa Johnson of Kennewick, WA; Erica Johnson Wilson and grandson Travis of Georgia; his father, Arthur Johnson, Sister Dorothy (Tommy) Hitt, brothers David and Steven, all of Virginia as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen; mother Carolyn; his grandparents; and in-laws. Bill was loved very much by his family and friends; he will be greatly missed. A celebration of life service will be from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Saturday, January 28 at Richland Labor Temple, 1305 Knight St, Richland, Washington.
