Obituary

Walter Boschee, born May 3rd, 1930 in Mercer, North Dakota, died April 8th 2009 in Kennewick, Washington. Preceded in death by his parents Mike and Elizabeth Boschee, brothers George & Bill Boschee. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Boschee; children Danny Cheryl Boschee, Dianna Merrell Peterson and Duane Becky Bailey Boschee. Also survived by brothers, Paul, Dave and Al Boschee; sisters, Edna, Hellen and Bertha; grandchildren, Matt Peterson, Mark Peterson and Rebecca Boschee; great-grandchildren Richard and Aiden Peterson. Walter moved with his family to Milton-Freewater, Oregon at a young age and graduated from High School there in 1950. Not too long after he met Shirley Hull and they married in September 1955. Walter retired from Western Paper Company in 1993. In addition, he served as a Benton County volunteer Firefighter from 1964 thru 1995 and Second Harvest Food Bank in Kennewick for several years. Walter's greatest passions outside of his family were fishing at Badger Lake, hunting, gardening, yard sales and working with wood. Viewing will be on Monday, April 13, 2009, 5:00pm to 8:00pm with funeral services on Tuesday, April 14th, 2:00pm, both at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick.
