Virginia Belle Fitzner Traum Nelson was born on August 31, 1926 in Edgemont, South Dakota. She went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2009 at the age of 82. She lived in Kennewick most of her life, where she helped the homeless and down and out. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Traum, husband George Nelson, son John W. Traum and grandson Anthony Peters. Virginia is survived by her children Linda Allen, Judy Carter, Gloria Traum, Jack Traum, Joy Word, Jerry Traum and Annettee Hope. A private memorial service will be held graveside. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Benton-Franklin Humane Society.
