Vicki Elaine (Ratchford) Weissenberger, 64 years old, slipped into the arms of her loving Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, Saturday night, June 14, 2014, at her home in Kennewick. After a long battle with her health, her pain is finally gone and she is dancing before the throne of grace! Her amazing gift of unconditional love and endless generosity will never be forgotten. Vicki was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities and spent 45 years with her devoted husband, Bill. Together, they raised two ornery boys, Steve and Aaron. While the road was often difficult, Vicki kept her eyes on Jesus and she and Bill had a life full of adventures. They shared their love of God, the outdoors, and good books with their sons and loved ones. Many treasured memories were made sitting around a campfire in the woods or curled up with a great read! Vicki loved deeply, cared vastly for, and treasured immensely the people in her life. She is survived by her devoted husband Bill, who cared for her with amazing faithfulness, her sons Steven (Melody) and Aaron (Lisa), her parents Big Wayne and Dorothea Evelyn Ratchford, siblings Marilyn (Larry) James, Jodi (Lyle) George, and Bruce (Lorrie) Ratchford, loving grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a huge host of loving in-laws and friends who were cherished by her. A simple memorial service in celebration of this precious woman will be held this Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 1107 Wright Ave., Richland, WA 99354. All are welcome. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of prayers, love, and support from too many people to name individually. We love you all very much and so did she!!
