Obituary

Tyler Michael Manuel, born July 27, 1985, went to be in our Lord?s care on July 6, 2007. He lived and attended primary school in Kennewick, Spokane, Costa Rica, and Prosser graduating in 2003 from Prosser HS. Tyler attended WSU Pullman in 2004-2006 and WSU Tri-Cities in 2006-2007 enrolled in the BSN nursing program. He would have been attending his final year this fall at WSU finishing his Nursing program. Tyler had recently been hired at Kennewick General Hospital as an Emergency Room Nurses Tech. This was very exciting for him and he loved coming home and sharing his day at work with everyone. He had found his calling and was pursuing his dream of following in his fathers footsteps and becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. His mother is also a nurse and they both were very proud of Tyler?s accomplishments. Tyler enjoyed outdoor sports and hobbies, skiing and hunting were favorites. Working out, computer games, and family were a big part of his life each day. He was a leader in the WSU Crimson Scrubs, an academic club that promotes the development of skills students will need as responsible and accountable members of the healthcare community. He could be always counted on to help and lead in anything they did. His family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances all knew him as a warm, engaging, and kind young man, always a pleasure to be with. His smile and quick humor would always light up the room. In the short time he was with us he touched many lives and he will be remembered and missed by all who had the joy of having him grace their lives. Those missing him greatly include his parents, Phil and Karen Manuel of Tucson, AZ, his brother Ryan Manuel PVT, USMC, and two married sisters, Cindy LaRiviere Rob of California, and Julie Howard Guy of Missouri, maternal grand parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union, Kennewick followed by services at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please honor the Lord Jesus Christ with contributions to your church in Tyler?s name.
