Sid passed away on December 8, 2011 in Kennewick, Washington. He was born July 9th, 1951 in Portland, Oregon, moving from Oregon to Washington in 1963, graduating from Grandview High School in 1970. He was in the Army from 1971 to 1974. Sid married Barbara Buchanan in 1976, raising two sons and making Sunnyside their home from 1976 to 1996, living on the Washington Coast for seven years and spending the last ten years in Tri-Cities, Washington. Sid went into the family radio business, farming, ranching, construction, trading grain, long haul trucking, and truck driving locally. As he liked to say he was, "A Sid of all trades." He enjoyed all that life had to offer; hunting, fishing, horseback riding, boating, camping, 4-wheeling, football and spending time with family and friends, and Sunday family dinners, amazing one and all with his storytelling abilities. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Barbara, daughter Tammy Jason Pulfer, sons James Jennifer Roach and Daniel Misti Roach; grandchildren Cassie Jones, James Jones, Michael Roach, Devin Roach and Makayla Roach; sisters and brothers Sherry Gary Gill, Steven Robyn Roach, Susan Paul Todorovich, Charmaine McKinney Richard, Elizabeth Gil Burke; and many nieces and nephews. Sid was preceded in death by his son Sid "Sidder" Roach and his father Sid Roach. He will be missed by everyone whose life he has touched. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick.
