Sharon Anne Meyer

August 13, 1934 - April 1, 2022

Sharon Anne Meyer, age 87, of Kennewick, WA, passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2022. Sharon was raised in Pendleton, OR, and graduated from Pendleton High School. She attended the University of Oregon and was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. Sharon married Gary Lee Meyer on May 1, 1954. They celebrated 59 years of marriage prior to his passing in November 2013. Sharon was actively involved in her P.E.O. sisterhood and was a past president. She enjoyed a successful career as executive assistant to the Dean of Students at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA. Sharon loved traveling, gardening, crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. Artistic and creative, she delighted friends and family with beautiful handiwork and greeting cards. We are especially proud of the knit hats and prayer shawls she gifted to women battling illness. Sharon adored dogs, and she treasured her beloved canine companion, Skylar. Sharon's greatest joy, and source of pride, was being a Mother and Grandmother. Sharon is survived by her three children: daughters Susan Adams, and Karen (Dave) Wood, and son David (Cheryl) Meyer. Sharon is survived by her four grandchildren: Elizabeth Hernandez, Andrew Liese, Timothy Liese and Jaclyn Liese. And survived by her five great-grandchildren. Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Lee, and her parents Bertrand and Elizabeth Isaminger. A service honoring Sharon will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the Riverview Heights Cemetery columbarium (1200 S. Olympia St, Kennewick WA). All family and friends are welcome to attend.
