Ruth Lorraine Sloppy Ferqueron of Kennewick: Lorraine entered heavens gates on May 18th, 2020 after 89 years of a beautiful life. She was born on May 7th,1931 in Franklin County, Washington, to the late Ruben Lynn and Edith Long Sloppy. Lorraine served in the U.S. Navy, was a seamstress, and a volunteer for many years with Kadlec Auxiliary, making cards and offering classes in crafting projects. She crocheted afghan upon afghan to benefit the children served by The Linus Project. Children held a special place in her heart Lorraine attended Quinlault Baptist Church for many years. She loved her church and church family and many friends with an open tremendous heart. She always had a laugh and a smile to share with all. Lorraine leaves behind many friends and family from the West Coast to the East Coast Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Lynna (Samuel) Clark of Aiken, South Carolina as well as two grandsons, William Brandon Hallman of Louisburg, Kansas and Wesley Brent Hallman of Plum Branch, South Carolina. Also, Surviving her are her brothers, Roy Sloppy, Vern Sloppy, Loren Sloppy, Dean Sloppy and Dale Sloppy. She also leaves behind her sister, Zelma Willoughby. Lorraine also is survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews. She adored her family and will be missed by all of them greatly. There will not be a visitation or service per her request. A memorial will be held at a later date by her church.
