Ruth Ann Monteney Jeffries was born to Loren and Gwendolyn Monteney at Kennewick General Hospital in Kennewick, WA, on September 6, 1962. Ruth age 59 passed away on May 22nd, 2022 in her home from sarcoidosis. She suffered from many illnesses through her life succumbed to sarcoidosis. She was surrounded by family and friends the last several months. She was blessed to have her aunt Lorna Runge, R.N. to help care for her many years. Lorna was there by her side continually, and was there till she went to see Jesus. Ruth suffered many years. She always said, the only social life she had was Dr. visits and of course hospital stays! She wants to thank Dr. Cabasug, Dr. Phan & Sung, Dr. Chua, Dr. Thapa, Dr. Mueller, Dr. Fora, and all their staff for their excellent care. Ruth attended Riverview Baptist grade school and high school. She loved decorating homes, arts and crafts. He favorite pastime was yard-saling, thrift stores, and music. She was a phenomenal pianist. Her favorite vacation was to the Oregon coast. Ruth found the most peace standing on the beach looking out at the ocean and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her eternal sense of humor and limitless compassion will be forever missed by those who were fortunate to know her. Ruth Ann is survived by her children Areta Meek of Richland, Shayne Bunch (Sabrina) of Pasco, Rachelle Rhoads (Craig) of Yakima. Her grandchildren Jordan Meek, Grayson Meek, Hunter Bunch, and Carson Rhoads. Her mother, Gwendolyn Monteney and son David Monteney. Preceded in death by her father, Loren Monteney, grandparents, Donald and Helen Garner. We want to thank Heartlinks Hospice for their care.
