On Friday, December 16, 2022, Robert Ray Turner passed peacefully and went home to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by love and family.

Bob was born on Tuesday, February 4th, 1947, in Olympia, WA to Wallace Ray "Pete" and Doris Turner. He spent his early years in Olympia and graduated from Olympia High School in 1965. He served a 5-year Sheet Metal apprenticeship at Bates Technical College in Tacoma, WA. He worked for various shops in Tacoma, Olympia, and Seattle areas.

On March 30th, 1978, he married the love of his life Julie Bingham in Mackay, Idaho. They were blessed with three beautiful children. They lived here for 6 years and owned and operated an HVAC and Curtain Wall Company that took them all over the United States.

In 1988, Bob moved his young family to Bridgeman, Michigan to work for Morrison Knudsen at DC Cook Power Plant where he was a construction superintendent.

The family moved to Kennewick, WA in December of 1989, where they set down roots and raised their family. He picked up "the tools" and went to work for Apollo Sheet Metal.  In 1996, he went to work at Battelle as a construction manager before retiring at the age of 65 in 2012.

After retiring from a paycheck, he went to work doing his passion and calling of serving others. He volunteered and donated his time to share his talents in designing and installing HVAC systems at many local churches, friends, and neighbors. He was always willing to lend a hand wherever he was needed. He will be remembered for his warm smile, infectious laugh, and love of life.

Bob had many adventures and hobbies that he loved; family, boating, camping, riding motorcycles and serving others. There wasn't anything that he couldn't fix or repair.

Bob loved his Savior Jesus Christ and leaned greatly on Him many times throughout his life, especially this last year.

He is survived by his loving wife Julie, and by his 6 children Justin (Julia) Turner McKinney, TX; Jared Turner Kennewick, WA; Courtney (Jake) Mayfield Kennewick, WA; Jeff (Angela) Turner Sioux Falls, SD; Taya (Tony) Winter Bellingham, WA and Tiffany Bush Camarillo, CA. His 12 grandchildren. Jacob, Julian Turner; Jaxon, Aliyah, Oaklee Mayfield; Ben, Abby Turner; Alexa, Emily Barket; Anya Winter; and Madison, Brek Bush. His Uncle Earl, (Ruth) Dahlin Lakewood, WA; and Aunt Marlys Swanson Houston, TX, and by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by Parents Wallace Ray "Pete" and Doris Turner, Sister Maxine Gruver.
