Robert C. Cochrane passed away at his home November 30, 2007. He was born October 2, 1926 in Portland, OR. to Patrick James and Carol Jean Cochrane, he spent most of his youth in the Walla Walla area. Bob served in the Navy during WWII and is a current member of the VFW. During his lifetime, he enjoyed coaching youth baseball, golf, and especially his year's commercial fishing on the Oregon and Washington coasts. His passion was bowling which was an activity he began in his 20s and continued all his life. He cherished the lifetime of wonderful friendships he made while pursuing his years in ownership. In addition to his years as bowling operator, he spent several years working in the Hanford area as a power operator. He is survived by wife, Lois Lee, children, Kathleen Clark of Spokane, Roberta Glenn Davis of Ephrata; Rob Linda Cochrane of Benton City, Patrick Susan Cochrane of Pasco; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. His extended family included godchildren, Tammi Trusley, John and Kirk Flieger and their children; sisters, Colleen Hull of Walla Walla, Patricia Aichle of Richland and brothers, Lester, Dean, Lyle and Jim Harpe. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Jean and brothers, John and Dale Harpe. His family and his friends will miss him greatly. We are sure he already is passing on wisdom.
