Ricky (Rick) P. Nelson passed on June 12, 2013. He really never asked for anything, always tried to do his best. He was a sports enthusiast and kept stats of every team especially WSU Cougars, Seattle Mariners and the Seahawks. He was not afraid to work his grandpa would be proud. He loved to tease you and play jokes on you. Camping on the Tucannon River and playing church softball was a favorite pastime. He lived in Kennewick area most of his life and knew where every business was located and the best way to get there. He graduated from Kamiakin High School in 1976. Rick passed away at his home in Kennewick after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother Carolyn Nelson, his brother Ken Nelson and his wife Barb (his favorite sister-in-law), his sisters Kathy Fowler and her husband Phillip, Carol Ard and her husband Dave and many nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his father Phillip Nelson. Graveside services to be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 19th.
