Richard Lee Flippo, 88, of Kennewick, Washington, died at home Friday, October 30, 2009. He was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Leeland, Virginia. He served in WW II and was a retired government employee. In 1945 he married Jennette Berry and resided in Falmouth, Virginia until 2003 when they moved to Kennewick. As much as he loved God?s natural creation, his first love was the spiritual work of God in his own life and the lives of others. He was preceded in death by his wife on August 3rd, 2009. Survivors include their four children, Barry Bonnie, Betty Ed Hawkins, Bruce Connie, and Brian Susan; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Lillie Flippo, Anne Jones, and Nancy Berry; brother-in-law Harrison Berry; six nephews and 3 nieces. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 7th, 2009, 1:00pm, at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick. Viewing will be held Friday, November 6th, 6:00pm to 8:00pm, also at the funeral home.
