Our special mother, Regina Gina A. McKeen passed away Friday, March 7, 2008 at the age of 87. Mom had lived in her home on Park Street in Pasco since 1962 and just this fall moved to the Tri-Cities Retirement Inn. Mom was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed gardening, and her roses showed this loving touch. Along with gardening mother was an avid bowler up to the last two years; when she retired from her bowling league of 20 years she had maintained a bowling average of 130. She was born in So. St. Paul Minnesota on June 17, 1920 to Andrew and Clara Schwendig. In the early 1950's the Northern Pacific Railway transferred our dad Jack Goode and mom to Pasco. Our dad passed away in 1974. Mom then decided to work and she spent eight years at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital, but then met and married Arnold McKeen. They shared 20 years of marriage together. Arnold passed away in 2001. She is survived by her son Mark Goode Judy, Camas, WA, and daughter Coni Gulsvig Ron, Seattle, WA. Also survived by grandsons Bryan Goode Lalit and Eric Goode Desiree and great grandchildren , Sheridan, Matea, Jaden and Jaxon. Mother enjoyed many friendships in her lifetime. One of which was Elaine Hatfield, her neighbor of 40 years. Part of this friendship included their morning walks, weather permitting. Another special friend of mom's was Nell Van Lear who she took on as a second daughter. They enjoyed many adventures together.
