Raymond C. "Shadow" Ling passed away June 6, 2017 at the age of 91 in Kennewick, Washington. He was born in McLaughlin, South Dakota on May 1st, 1926. He was a very proud Wyandotte Nation Native American. He lived in the Tri-Cities for 67 years. He joined the Army in 1944 and fought in WWII. He worked out in the Hanford area and retired from the operating engineers as a mechanic. Shadow enjoyed working on cars, racing and tinkering. He always wanted his car to be the loudest. He loved any chance to watch car races on TV. He fell in love three times and had three children. He was a loving and caring father, brother, son, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by many family and friends. We will miss his laugh, smile and jokes. The Ling family would like to say thank you to Callaway Gardens for taking such good care of our dad and grandfather (BOSS).
