Obituary

Penny Sue Gregory, 59, passed away after battling cancer July 28, 2008, at her home in Kennewick, Washington. Penny was born October 22, 1948, in Barnesville, Ohio, the oldest daughter of Jacquelyn and Jack Neuhart. She spent her early years on a farm in Ohio and then the family moved to California while her father served in the U.S. Navy. The family then moved to Washington State in 1959 where she finished her schooling. She attended Kennewick High School, Columbia Basin College in Pasco and the Modern Business College in Kennewick. Her working career included: medical secretary, secretary for the U.S. Army Recruiter's Office, credit bureau supervisor, lead text processor for Boeing and Lockheed Martin Information Technology until her early retirement in 2001 due to illness. Penny's greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter Elizabeth Pearl-Ann 4, reading, and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her mother Jacquelyn, brothers Jerry in 1982 and David in 2004. She is survived by her sisters Evonne Bob Rodabaugh, Audrey Ray Miller of Kennewick; brothers Jack Michael Dena Neuhart, Rob Jeannette Neuhart and Todd Karen Neuhart, all of Kennewick; and Tony Viet Neuhart of Seattle. She is also survived by granddaughter Elizabeth, several nieces, nephews and extended family. Viewing will be Thursday, July 31, 2008, 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick. Graveside services will be Friday, August 1st, 11:00am, at Riverview Heights Cemetery located at 10th & Olympia Street in Kennewick.
