Patrick Alan Young, age 63, was born in Rutland, North Dakota December 6th 1945 to Gwen and John Young. Pat died suddenly August 22, 2009 of complications from a bee sting. He was raised in Rutland, North Dakota, lived in Richland, Washington for many years, and retired near Gila Bend, AZ in 2001. He is survived by his best friend Candy, his wife and companion of 37 years. He was the proud father of Kim, Pete, Matt and Shawn, and Grandfather of 13 grandchildren. He is survived by his mother Gwen, brothers John, Harold and Vincent, and numerous nieces and nephews. He worked as a Union Pipefitter at Local 598 in the Tri-Cities, WA. An outgoing man, he made many friends and was always helping his family, friends and strangers in need. He enjoyed walleye fishing, Nascar racing, home improvement projects and was recently restoring an International tractor. A memorial service was held at 2pm, August 26th at St. Bridget Parish, 2213 N. Lindsay Road, Mesa AZ. A graveside memorial service will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick, WA on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Susan G.
