Patricia "Laurene" Swain passed away Wednesday December 11, 2013 peacefully in Kennewick with her son Brian Ennen, John Swain and brother Larry Benjamin by her side. She was at Rose Cottage under the loving care of Alma, Rita, Jasmine and Ivan. Laurene was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on May 28, 1947 and lived all but two of her 66 years in the Tri-Cities. While going to Kennewick High she met Bill Ennen and, after graduating, they married and had Brian. She worked for the House of Fabrics as a manager until the company left the Tri-Cities. Then she was able to do what she really loved and that was to nurture and attend to kids and grandkids at Camp Arrowhead which included: Brian, Jeff, Nick, Travis, Amy, Brent, Brian Jr., Phillip, Lexi, Ethan, Brentten, Elvin James, plus many others who will miss her greatly. Her brother Larry from Pennsylvania, sister Kimberly Borini from New Jersey, brother Mark Benjamin from Illinois and Wendy Benjamin make up her East Coast family. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick with a reception to follow.
