Pat passed away peacefully December 21, 2015 at Calloway Gardens in Kennewick, WA. Born Patricia A. Higley, April 24, 1927 in Kennewick, WA to Clyde and Thelma Higley. She attended school and graduated from Kennewick High, class of 1945, married her high school sweetheart, Wesley C. Perkins and was a devoted wife for 49 years. She loved kids and worked as a baker for the Kennewick School District until retiring at age 55. Pat enjoyed vacationing with her husband, Wes, and two sons, Terry and Dave, wherever their travels took them. They especially loved Hawaii. As part of a club consisting of high school classmates, she continued to get together with her classmates to play cards once a month since 1945. Pat loved life and lived it to the fullest especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pat was preceded by her loving husband, Wes, and her parents. She is survived by her sister, Dorene Routt of Kennewick, WA and brother, Clyde Higley, Jr of Post Falls, ID, her two sons, Terry Perkins (Teresa) of Spokane Valley, WA and David Perkins (Lorry) of Kennewick, WA, 5 grandchildren, Tod Perkins (Brenda) of Palmer, AK Tana Reneau (John) of Blaine, WA Tressa Perkins of Kennewick, WA Joshua Perkins (Trudy) of Portland, OR and Kyle Perkins (Mary) of Spokane, WA, 10 great-grandchildren, Elliot and Ryan Perkins, Ryker and Porter Reneau, Cooper Perkins-London, Calvin, Wesley and Monica Perkins, Joseph and Nicholas Perkins, and several nieces and nephews. The loss of our mother has brought together families who love her very much. Services will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick on Saturday, December 26th at 1pm.
