Norma Jean Knight of Kennewick, WA passed away on May 10th, 2022, at the age of 87. She was born on June 1st, 1934, to Fred and Mary Flemmer in Akaska, South Dakota. She moved to the Tri-Cities shortly after graduating high school in 1952. Norma married the love of her life, William "Bill" Knight on August 15th, 1970. They met while working for the United States Postal Service where Norma retired as a payroll manager. Bill and Norma shared 52 wonderful years together. They rarely ever missed watching (or listening) to the Seattle Mariners play and loved cheering them on together each season. They also enjoyed playing Bingo at Bingo Boulevard where they met many friends that became like family to them. Norma is survived by her loving husband, Bill. Her two sons, Vic Albertson (Tammy), John Albertson (Cathy), one daughter, Carla Green (Ray), and one daughter-in-law, Peggy Albertson. Norma loved spending time with her family which included six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was also blessed to have many others she considered her grandchildren and great grandchildren over the years. Norma is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary Flemmer, two brothers, Ernie and Albert Flemmer, and one son, Del Albertson. Graveside service will be held on Monday, May 16th, 2022 at 11:00am at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 S. Union St, Kennewick, WA.
