Norma Mooney Carlin, 77, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 in Richland. She was born on May 5, 1929 in Petersburg, NE to Fred and Nellie Gragert. Norma loved a good conversation and enjoyed being a part of a good laugh. Her sense of humor will be missed by all. Norma had a special love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Spending time with them was always a cherished moment. Norma was a rock for her family. She had a great love for the Lord and was a treasured prayer warrior. Her loving spirit will be missed. Norma is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nellie Gragert; siblings, Kenneth, Arnold, Harold, Nadine and Garnette; husbands, Melvin Mooney, Don Carlin and son Skip Mooney. Norma is survived by her son, Wayne Lori Mooney; daughter in law Stephanie Mooney; grandchildren, Travis Traci Mooney, Jason Tracy Mooney, Monica Mooney, Trisha Mark Litka, Trent Teri Mooney, Brett Tracy Mooney, Renyel William Doremus; great grandchildren, Lucas, Tylor, Seth, Kelsea, BreAnna, Austin, Devan, Kiara, Chase, Braden, Dylan and Jordyn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parish of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 12:00p.m. at Parish of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7409 W. Clearwater Avenue in Kennewick. Norma will be buried with her husband, Melvin in LaGrande, Oregon.
