    Noe Marroquin Jr

    August 7, 1935 - December 11, 2021

Noe Marroquin Jr. born August 7, 1935, and deceased December 11, 2021. Noe was born in a small town in San Vicente, Nuevo Leon Mexico. As a child his family moved to Dias Ordas, Tamaulipas Mexico. He lived there into his teens with his father Noe and Juanita Marroquin Garcia. He is survived by an older brother Sergio, and 4 sisters, Graciela (Chela), Irma, Manuela, and Dora. At a young age Noe learned to work on ranches, handle livestock and mechanics. Noe had an opportunity to work in America. He moved to Texas where he took a vocational school for mechanics, welding and learned English. Having met the love of his life Elena Gonzalez in Dias Ordas, México they dated and wrote love letters to each other until they married on February 23, 1963. They were happily married for 56 years, had 6 children Maria Elena (Mary), Rodrigo (Rigo), Reynaldo (Ray), Rosbel, Graciala (Cheli), Rosaneli (Nelly). His family grew to have 21 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren with one on the way. Noe and his wife Elena moved to Connell in 1965, working on ranches as mechanic and field hand. Then later worked at lamb western for over 25 years in mechanics alongside of his brother Sergio Marroquin. There are not enough words to relay the great man Noe was and how he cared for his family. As a Catholic and lifelong member of St Vincent parish in Connell. He helped the Hispanic community grow with the work of many others in Connell from community fund raisers to the support for priests and nuns, and outreach. Due to health reasons Noe and Elena had to move 4 years ago to be closer to medical facilities in Tri-cities. But their hearts stayed in Connell attending all fall festivals and events when he could. Noe will be sorely missed by his brothers and sisters, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will forever leave his stamp on our hearts and has set a high bar to reach in family love. Memorial and Rosary will be held at St Vincent Church, in Connell, WA. Viewing will be 4 pm to 8 pm. Rosary at 6 pm on Thursday 12/16/2021. St. Vincent church Mass will be on Friday, 12/17/2021 at 11 am. We will have mariachi band, followed by a final send off by horse drawn wagon through Connell and his final resting place at Mountain View Cemetery at 12:30 pm. Those that would like to wave goodbye to a lifelong Connell citizen, park on the side of Main Street (Columbia Ave) with flashers on and honk as they come by, Thank you.
