Nathan Castle McBride passed away suddenly while on his mission to Merida Mexico on January 16, 2015. Nathan was born on October 31, 1994 to Robert McBride Jr and Rhonda Harris McBride in Pasco, WA. Nathan was one year into his two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Merida Mexico. Nathan loved the work and the people of Mexico. Nathan and his family were the first to be sealed for time and eternity in the Columbia River Temple in 2001. Nathan graduated from Chiawana High School in 2013 and also received an AA from CBC at the same time with a high GPA. He planned to continue his schooling and become a surgeon. Nathan loved his family, friends, sports, and animals. The highlight of every year was the fair. He loved spending time at his grandparents' house in the summer with his uncle and cousins raising and training pigs and taking them to the fair to show and sell. He enjoyed being a showman and training animals and was good at it. Nathan loved all sports playing and watching, but he mostly loved the friends that he made while participating or watching. Nathan played with the same AAU basketball team for several years and loved being part of the team. He participated in regionals for pole vault for two years and enjoyed having extra time to be with his friends and make new ones. Nathan also loved to fish and had memorable salmon and Tuna fishing trips with his father. He loved hiking and the outdoors and had many fun trips including climbing Mt. Adams and rafting the Deschutes. He was also a good rock climber and enjoyed climbing with his family and on his last climb with his Father and brother he fell twice leading a hard climb but was able to finally make the move and finished the climb. Nathan was the family cutup always making a funny face or pose in family pictures. He loved to make people smile and laugh. Nathan is survived by his Mother and Father Rhonda and Robert McBride, a brother Devin, a sister Bethany, and Macedonian sister Ana Tomevska, both sets of Grand parents' Bob and Elaine McBride of Benton City, WA and Alvin and Fern Harris of Pasco, WA and many Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by two Aunts; Beth Harris and Pamela Harris, a great Uncle; David Butte, and a cousin: Tyler Harris. Services will be held at the LDS Pasco North Stake Center at 4618 Porto Lane Pasco at 10:00am on Saturday the 24th with a viewing before that from 9:00 to 9:30. Additionally on Friday the 23rd there will be a viewing from 4:00 to 7:00 at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home on Court Street in Pasco.
