Mickey Weatherbee, 77 - Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend - was born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, Canada on February 21, 1930 and passed away surrounded by his family on January 11, 2008 at Kennewick General Hospital. Mickey met his loving bride, Kay, 56 years ago. In 1963, as a young couple, they moved from Canada to the United States with their 3 children and settled in Kennewick. He worked in the sales and service of office machines and was self-employed. Mickey enjoyed golf, astronomy, camping and the many wild animals he fed on his property. Thirty-five years ago Mickey started living his life one day at a time and reached his hand out to help others whenever he could. He has touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Mickey is survived by Kay, his loving wife of 56 years; son Bryan and his wife Shelly; daughter Dona and her husband Bruce; son Richard and his fiancé Diana; his sister Margaret. He is also survived by his Grandchildren Michael, Nicole, Jenny, Shaun, Alisha, Mitch, Dannah and Jennifer; as well as his Great-Grandchildren Ashleigh, Ethan, Katie, Kyree, Jasmine, Shannon, Hunter, Forrest, Bailey, Laura, Ericka, Daniel, Kyle, Michael and Alyssa. A Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008, 1:00pm, at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick.
