Michael John Conner was born in Walla Walla, WA on January 18, 1946. He passed away on the night of December 25, 2010 after spending a loving day with close family. Mike was a kind, generous, wonderful man who cared most about his family. He was raised in Walla Walla by parents, Clancy and Helen Conner. He married his high school sweetheart in 1966 and had three children. He was a semi pro baseball player with the Walla Walla Bears. The family moved to Kennewick in 1973. Mike operated the family-owned Tri-Cities Clancy's Transfer and Storage for 37 years. He enjoyed many things in life. His first love was for his family, especially time with his four granddaughters. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, pool and was a Tri-City Americans season ticket holder. He was an active member of the Parish of the Holy Spirit. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Andrea, sister Kathy Kaping of Walla Walla, three children, Carrie Conner of Portland, OR., Pam Conner of San Diego, CA., and Craig Conner of Richland, WA., and four grandchildren Andrea, Shanna, Julia and Karina. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home located at 1401 South Union Street in Kennewick. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 30th, 11:00 a.m., at Parish of the Holy Spirit, 7409 West Clearwater Avenue in Kennewick. Donations may be sent in Mike's memory to the Children's Developmental Center, 1549 Georgia Avenue SE, Richland, Washington 99352. Flowers may be sent to Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home.
