Mike was born June 1, 1983 in Wollongong, Australia, relocated to the US when he was 3 and grew up in Ellensburg, WA. He graduated from Ellensburg High School in 2001 and graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications where he met his wife, Crystal. They married in July 2010, relocated to the Tri-Cities in 2011 where they had their first daughter, Makenzie, in January 2012. Mike enjoyed many outdoor activities including boating, dirt bike riding, hiking, and mountain exploring. He also loved telling stories, helping anyone with anything and most of all, spending any free time with his family. He touched everyone's hearts he ever came in contact with and left a lasting impression. Mike lived a very full life in his short 32 years. He unexpectedly passed away May 19, 2016 leaving behind his wife, Crystal Nethery; daughter, Makenzie Anna, and unborn daughter, Hannah Christine; mother, Debbie Nethery; father, Vince Nethery; sisters, Jackie Nethery (fiance' Daniel Bergman) and Sara Williams (husband Brad Williams); father and mother in-law, Richard and Jennifer Rice; sister-in-law, Ashley Rice; niece and nephews; and many other friends and family members. There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, June 5th, 2 to 6pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick, WA with visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A second celebration of life, Thursday June 16th, 3-6pm at McIntosh Ranch, US 97, Ellensburg, WA.
