Maxine K. Combs age 71, died of complications due to pneumonia on Friday, January 16, 2015, in Kennewick, WA. Maxine is survived by her son Greg Graham of Kennewick WA, her daughter Syringa (Sheri) Ortega of Phoenix, AZ., and her grandsons Ryan Ortega and Adam Ortega. She is preceded in death by her husband Gary Combs. Maxine was born on April 5, 1943 in Colville, WA to parents Dorothy and Myral Blair. She was a hard working self-taught bookkeeper, secretary, and business manager. Her three longest associations were with Benton Franklin County Fairground, Sterling Recreation Organization, (SRO) – (OK95, KALE), and Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. Maxine was beautiful, social and truly loved to shop! Always classy and put together, she was a wonderful Mother and a great friend to many. A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, January 20 at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home (1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick WA, 99338) Viewing will be at 12 p.m., services at 1 p.m. and a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Maxine's life.
