Mary Ann Ketchum, age 84, passed away December 3rd, 2015 in Richland, Washington. She was born in July 1931 to William and Grace Lentz Gable in Noonan, North Dakota. Mary Ann grew up in North Dakota as an only child and after high school attended Minot Teaching College. Her first teaching job brought her to eastern Montana to a one room school in Fallon County. She soon met her husband, Kenny, who was #10 of 13 children. His family ranched in Fallon County. They had several jobs and ended up in Glasgow, Montana where they raised five children. She always worked and sometimes out of the home. She had passions for family, sewing and cooking. She was a master seamstress and tailor as well as quilting and hand work. When Kenny retired, they decided to move closer to children and moved to Washington and have been here 26 years. She is predeased by one daughter, Mary Lou and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Kenny and four children; Ileen with husband Kent, Neil, Judy and Earl J., also 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for Wed., Dec 9, 2015 at Central Church in Richland at 10:30am.
